To be able to construct a well-defined, futureproof strategy, we needed to determine what exactly London and Partners were aiming to achieve. Defining the vision at the start of the project is pivotal to identifying processes and technology that can underpin the objectives and enable the business to reach them.
The high and rising costs to maintain the infrastructure and battling the fallout from numerous inefficiencies put London and Partners in a position of high risk. This approach was no longer sustainable, and it didn’t meet the important operational and technical business requirements. It needed rapidly rectifying so London and Partners could get back on track and deliver against their core business objectives.
To be able to construct a well-defined, futureproof strategy, we needed to determine what exactly London and Partners were aiming to achieve. Defining the vision at the start of the project is pivotal to identifying processes and technology that can underpin the objectives and enable the business to reach them.
Equantiis then assessed all the technical infrastructure to understand which technology could be moved to the cloud, and which technology should be moved to the cloud. With this information, we were then able to build out a 2-year roadmap to arm the internal team at London and Partners with the strategy to deliver the transformation project.
Through our detailed technical infrastructure assessment and ongoing support, we identified 64 out of 66 on-premises servers that could be moved to the cloud. London and Partners now only have 2 servers onsite, enabling the businesses to operate efficiently and most importantly, cost effectively.
The flexibility the business now has is unparalleled, with greater business continuity so services can be delivered 24/7. For a business with a worldwide customer base, this has extensively improved the customer experience.
